Parisian Fashion

Hi ladies,

this past weekend I went to Paris and I had a great time :)

I wanted to share some of the fashion I saw while I was in Paris, because I always like to know what different women wear in different cities. This always inspires me.

 

Almost every woman had a Longchamp in Le Pliage. Populair colors: brown, olive green, black, dark red and emerald green.

A lot of women wore hats. I saw several women wear an akubra hat (above), but there were many other hats. E.g. the top hat and the fedora hat.

Even though it wasn't that cold, everybody was wearing beautiful thick scarves.

Studded boots were sold everywhere and a lot of women and girls were wearing them.

I always thought that Ladurée was something that only tourists would buy. However, in Paris I saw a lot of Ladurée bags being carried by French women.

Many French women wear (faux) fur coats or (faux) fur long gilets. 

I hope this inspires you as much as it has inspired me!

Photo diary: week 47

Hi ladies!

Today I thought I'd post a photo recap of what I've been up to the past week. 

I've been re-organizing and cleaning out my closet last week. These bags are full of neglected items. It really made me realize how much I already have! So, I decided I'm not going to buy too much in Paris.

I got this delicious chocolate bar from Tony's. I love that this brands fights for human rights!

I can't wait to go to Paris :) The Eiffel Tower looks so pretty.

To do in Paris!

Hi ladies,

I wanted to share with you what we're going to do in Paris.

Galaries Lafayette

This is a French department store. I chose a picture form the internet with christmas decorations, because I think everything will be decorated when we go. 

City Pharma

This Pharmacy was recommended by Lisa Eldridge, because they have dicounted prices and special offers. 

Ladurée

When you go to Paris, you must buy some macarons! 

Printemps

This is another department store in Paris. Hopefully this will be decorated as well :)

Avenue des Champs-Élysées

This is THE shopping street of Paris. There are all kinds of shops here, from high street to high end.

La Tour Eiffel

And of course we are also going to the Eiffel tower!

French skincare: Wish list

Hi ladies,

France is known for their fantastic skincare, especially the french pharmacy skincare products. 

These brands are specially chosen to be sold in a pharmacy. So, these brands are really good ones for a great price. Obviously, Mariska and I really want go to a French pharmacy while we are in Paris!

I started researching (check out the links below) about the different brands and their products. The following products are definitely on my wish list!

Nuxe huile prodigieuse
This is an oil that you can use on your skin or in your hair. It's one of Nuxe's best sellers. There's also one with gold glitter!

Nuxe baume levres

This is a matte lip balm and was recommended on many websites. Its also one of their bestsellers.

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré

This creme can be used for many purposes, e.g. repair mask, baby lotion, after shave, to remove make-up,... 

It was recommended on many websites as well.

Paris, je t'aime!

Hi ladies,

My friend Mariska and I are going to Paris for a day! We are super excited and we can't wait to go. 

Since we are going for just one day, we already started planning what we want to do. I thought it would be fun to share this with you in the next few posts!
